After more than a decade supporting high-achieving and deserving students, Kathy and John Ballard are now shifting their focus to make an even broader impact with the Ballard Scholarship Fund endowment. Their gift provides annual scholarships for STEM students, and funds an effort aimed at supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, providing mentoring and paid internships that benefit all majors.

Tony Diaz is a Northern California-based artist who graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2013 with a degree in Studio Art. Tony has since been commissioned by many businesses and musicians for merchandise, apparel, logos, murals, and poster designs. Diaz’s creative vision has been inspired by the human form, flora, horror films, and creatures from the natural world. He now owns Ripe Mind Designs, where you can purchase his art on clothing and request custom-designed pieces.
