Sharing the Legacy of Black Art and Music with Humboldt Youth

Valetta Molofsky (‘20, Master of Social Work) brought her talents to the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir as a graduate student. As part of her master’s thesis, she organized a community celebration of gospel music and is now helping local youth connect with their heritage through music and art.

Transformative Gift to Lumberjack Athletics and Recreational Sports

To ensure current and future students continue benefiting from organized sports at HSU, Robin donated $200,000 to support athletics at HSU. Half of the funds established the Robin M. Smith Athletic Facilities Special Opportunities Fund.
