Student Wildfire Hardship Relief

a gloomy photo of a red sky over Humboldt State University

This year has proven to be the worst wildfire season in California's history. These fires have disrupted the lives of some HSU students during already challenging circumstances. Evacuation, loss of internet, poor air quality and for some, the loss of a home are devastating events but with your support, students can keep learning and progress to their degree. Donate to the Student Adversity Fund today. This fund provides immediate assistance to students who have an unexpected situation or emergency that could force them to drop out of school.

Your gift will help HSU students affected by the wildfires continue their education at HSU.

During the 1957 homecoming festivities what memorable event took place?

  • A) Several goats were discovered wandering around inside Siemens Hall.
  • B) The homecoming queen fell off the parade float she was riding on.
  • C) Members of the sophomore class burned down a building on campus.
  • D) It rained so hard during the homecoming football game, the visiting team's fans left before the game was over.

Last month’s quiz asked, “In what year did all the campus residence halls become co-ed?” Congratulations to Karen Murphy (‘83, Environmental Resources Engineering) for submitting the correct answer and winning the drawing: 1969.
