New Quick Guide: What to Do If You Encounter ICE Agents on Campus

Dear Campus Community,
We understand that questions and concerns about immigration status can create uncertainty and anxiety for many in our community. To help, we’ve created a pocket Quick Guide Card outlining what to do if you are approached by Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on campus.
These cards are being distributed across campus and include clear steps on who to contact, what to say, and how to respond if such a situation arises. The guide emphasizes the importance of directing agents to appropriate campus contacts and protecting student privacy.
You can view and download the card, and find additional resources including legal support, Dreamer Student resources, CSU updates on federal issues, and more on the Immigration Rights and Resources website.
If your office or department would like additional copies of the cards, please email Marketing & Communications at marcom@humboldt.edu to request more.
You’re also invited to attend a webinar hosted by CHIRLA’s Student Legal Services Department, focused on your rights while traveling and the latest immigration updates.
